First Danish Project In The Works

Exciting things are happening in Denmark, where we are in the process of making our first biochar production facility a reality. We are not able to share many details at this point, we can reveal that we are working on a multi-party joint venture with multiple actors in agriculture, finance, and engineering to design the project.

At the moment, we are working on developing the business case, finalising budgetting and financial planning, securing feedstock supply chains, and designing the production facility. When that is in hand, we will be looking to secure financing, and we are quite optimistic in this regard, as we have developed a few leads already.

Once the first facility is ready, it will be able to produce around 2400 tons of high-quality biochar per year, but the final goal is to use this project as a model for scaling the approach across Denmark (and beyond).
